Board of Health Meeting
Tuesday, April 28, 2015

Meeting Start Time: 6:30 pm
Place:  2nd floor Hearing room
        Hanson Town Hall, 542 Liberty Street, Hanson, MA 02341

Having a quorum, Mr. Amado called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m.
Present: Chairman Amado, Mr. McSweeney & Ms. Cocio

REVIEW OF AGENDA
Read and sign all mail, permits, warrants and expense vouchers.

NEW BUSINESS

  • New Business:
  • The next Board of Health meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 6:30pm.
  • The owner of the Green Monki came before the Board to discuss the installation of a single bay sink.  There is no food cooked at the Green Monki.  Mr. McSweeney made a motion to allow for a variance permitting the use of a single bay sink.  Sink must be installed by BOH meeting on Tuesday, May 19, 2015.  Second by Chairman Amado.  Owner will forward photo of installed sink to Ms. Cocio as proof.
  • 686 Liberty Street – Owner came before the Board to discuss addition of bedroom at his home.  He is making one bedroom into a hallway and adding a bedroom.  Bedroom count will remain at 5.  The Board did not have a problem with this.  The Board requested a floorplan of home before and after construction with all rooms labeled.
  • McSweeney made a motion to require Recreation Department / Camp Kiwanee to pay for camp permitting fees & water testing.  Seconded by Chairman Amado.  2-0.

  • Update from staff on any business since the last Board of Health meeting

Motion to adjourn meeting made by Mr. McSweeney, second by Mr. Amado.  Unanimous 2-0.
